Immediate Suspension Advisory: World Travel Inc.

Mississauga, ONT. – The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has issued an Immediate Suspension Order to suspend the registration of World Travel Inc. (registration number 50020260), a travel agency in Toronto, Ontario.

World Travel Inc. must cease all travel sales and counselling activity immediately.

TICO has also issued a Notice of Proposal to revoke the registration of World Travel Inc.

World Travel Inc. is entitled to a hearing by the Licence Appeal Tribunal about the proposal to revoke its registration.

It is alleged that World Travel Inc. has not been financially responsible in the way it conducts business, including the use of consumer funds. There are reasons to believe that World Travel Inc. will not conduct business in accordance with Ontario’s Travel Industry Act, 2002.
