Immediate Suspension Advisory: Amerigo Tours and Travel Inc.

Mississauga, ONT. – The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has issued an Immediate Suspension Order to suspend the registration of Amerigo Tours and Travel Inc. (registration number 50025588), a travel wholesaler in Ottawa, Ontario.

Amerigo Tours and Travel Inc. must cease all travel sales and counselling activity immediately.

TICO has also issued a Notice of Proposal to revoke the registration of Amerigo Tours and Travel Inc.

Amerigo Tours and Travel Inc. is entitled to a hearing by the Licence Appeal Tribunal about the proposal to revoke its registration.

It is alleged that Amerigo Tours and Travel Inc. has been operating without a Supervisor/Manager, as required by Ontario’s Travel Industry Act, 2002.
