Mississauga, ONT. – The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has charged Ms. Libia Guerra Paez, operator of Representaciones Neward Inc., with one (1) count of operating as a travel agent without being registered contrary to section 4(1)(a) of the Travel Industry Act, 2002 (the Act), and one count of failing to take reasonable care to prevent Representaciones Neward Inc. from committing the offence of selling travel under paragraph 31(2) of the Act.

Separately, TICO has also charged Representaciones Neward Inc. with one count of selling travel services without being registered contrary to section 4(1)(a) of the Travel Industry Act, 2002 (the Act). 

Ms. Paez and Representaciones Neward Inc. operated in the GTA. 

Ms. Paez will appear in court on April 4th, 2019.
