Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. operating as flycentraleurope.com located in St. Catharines, Ontario has voluntarily terminated its Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002 registration to do business as a travel retailer and as a travel wholesaler in Ontario effective May 17, 2011.

Flycentraleurope.com sold flights on Air Italy Polska to Budapest, Krakowand Prague departing from Hamilton, ON and Chicago, Illinois. All flights were to commence on May 27, 2011and continue through to September 21, 2011. These flights will not be operating with Panorama Travel and Tours Ltd.

Some bookings were made by out-of-province travel agencies (i.e. U.S.based travel agency). There is no provision under Ontario Regulation 26/05 pursuant to the Travel Industry Act, 2002 for a consumer to claim on the Compensation Fund when they have purchased travel services from an out-of-province travel agency. TICO can only recommend that consumers contact their travel agent for further assistance.
Where possible, consumers affected by the closure who have bookings with future departures are being contacted by TICO and notified of the closure and the process for filing a claim against the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund. Any consumers and/or travel agents who have purchased travel services from Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. o/a www.flycentraleurope.com and who may be at risk of not receiving the travel services purchased are asked to contact TICO for assistance. The Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund is wholly-financed by the industry to protect consumers who do not receive the travel services for which they paid, due to the insolvency or bankruptcy of an Ontario-registered travel agent or travel wholesaler or due to the cessation of an end supplier airline or cruise line.
