The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) is inviting nominations for one elected RETAIL or WHOLESALE position on the Board of Directors.   

TICO values the diverse opinions and experiences that Directors bring to the table. Serving as a TICO Director is a rewarding position where you have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to Ontario’s travel consumer protection framework.

We invite eligible registrants to consider running for a Director position.

Term of Office

The term of office of the Director who is elected will be for two (2) years commencing at the Annual Meeting to be held on September 26, 2023 and ending at the Annual Meeting to be held in 2025.

Obligations as a Director

Serving on TICO's Board of Directors entails a substantial time commitment, including active participation in Board and committee meetings, as well as dedicated preparation time. On average, a Director commits approximately 140 to 150 hours per year.
