Mississauga, ONT. – The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has charged Hameed M. Khan, operating as Ottawa Sports Tours, with one count of operating as a travel agent without being registered.
It is alleged that Hameed M. Khan sold travel packages, which included accommodations and tickets to professional football games in Buffalo, New York.
Hameed M. Khan will appear in court on July 13, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at 100 Constellation Drive in Ottawa, Ontario.
Individuals convicted in Court of offences relating to the Travel Industry Act, 2002 are subject to fines of up to $50,000 and/or prison terms of up to two years. Corporations are subject to fines of up to $250,000.
