Toronto – Julie Bevan o/a Cosmopolitan Travel has been charged with 12 counts of operating as a travel agent without registration contrary to section 4(1)(a) of Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002. Ms. Bevan was previously registered under the Travel Industry Act, 2002 as a travel agent and continued to operate after her registration was suspended on August 10, 2010. Ms. Bevan was located in Hamilton, Ontario.
The first court appearance is scheduled for June 30, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Provincial Offences Court, 45 Main St. E, Hamilton, Ontario.
